About Patriot Apparel
Patriot Apparel is more than a patriotic clothing brand — it’s a story of service, sacrifice, resilience, and redemption.
My name is Chad, and I’m the proud owner and founder of Patriot Apparel, a Veteran-Owned Business built by veterans, for patriots. I served as an Army Ranger with the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Ft. Lewis, Washington, and deployed to Afghanistan in 2002 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Later, I transferred to the 82nd Airborne Division and deployed to Iraq in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
During my military service, I was injured in the line of duty and medically discharged from the Army after receiving severe injuries to my right leg that required a metal plate and six screws. Leaving the military was one of the hardest moments of my life. I had planned to dedicate my career to serving this country.
Like many combat veterans returning home from war, I struggled with PTSD and the difficult transition back into civilian life. Instead of asking for help, I turned to alcohol to cope with the pain and trauma. Over time, my life spiraled out of control. I lost everything and eventually found myself homeless on the streets of Jacksonville, Florida.
Everything changed when I was referred to a shelter dedicated to helping homeless veterans rebuild their lives. It was there that I realized I wasn’t alone. I met fellow veterans facing many of the same battles with PTSD, addiction, and finding purpose after service.
Through counseling, support, faith, and determination, I slowly began rebuilding my life one day at a time. During my recovery, I started painting and creating graphic designs as a form of therapy. One night, while looking through my artwork, I created a design that I thought would make an incredible military t-shirt. That single idea became the foundation of Patriot Apparel.
Today, Patriot Apparel has grown into a leading patriotic apparel brand dedicated to honoring the American spirit, supporting our military community, and raising awareness about the struggles many veterans face after returning home from combat.
We proudly create patriotic shirts, military apparel, veteran apparel, and freedom-inspired graphic tees designed for Americans who love this country and respect the sacrifices made by our service members. Every design represents strength, freedom, courage, and pride in the United States of America.
Patriot Apparel remains deeply committed to supporting veterans and fighting veteran homelessness. We actively give back to the community, support causes that help veterans suffering from PTSD, and strive to inspire hope through our mission and message.
